Queensland has strong training and education capabilities provide the basis for developing a strong hub of railway transport industry capabilities.
- Presence of the Rail CRC, Centre for Railway Engineering, CRC for Integrated Asset Management, universities and QR's training and education resources in Queensland.
- Strong acceptance and implementation of the Australian Qualification Framework in Queensland - positions the state to be able to build on this vocational education and training (VET) capability.
