Overseas projects
ICN (Qld) has been granted funds from the Federal Government's Supplier Access to Major Projects Program to enable it to identify opportunities in Papua New Guinea (PNG) LNG and associated infrastructure projects. Under the PNG LNG Project Gas from the Hides, Angore, and Juha fields and gas from oil fields at Kutubu in the Southern Highlands of PNG will be conditioned and transported 700 km to a 6.3 MT/A Liquified Natural Gas plant near Port Moresby for export to Asian clients. The project has completed front-end engineering and design and competitively bid six EPCM contracts for the Gas Conditioning Plant, Communications, Land and underwater pipelines, LNG Plant and Infrastructure / Early works.
