| Surat Basin Railway (Southern Missing Link): 207km link the towns of Wandoan and Banana to the Port of Gladstone. Railway is likely to initially consist of single track with passing loops at approximately 25km intervals that will be able to accommodate trains approximately 2.4km in length. Construction will be undertaken with multiple work fronts and require a workforce currently estimated at an average of 400-600 personnel over a duration of approximately two and a half years. |
