Projects on the go
A list of major projects on the go has been compiled by the Heavy Engineering Industry Reference Group (HEIRG) from publicly available sources. They are at various stages of implementation from Committed, feasibility, design through to tender and construction. HEIRG is a partnership between the Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation through the Office of Advanced Manufacturing, industry and unions to further business opportunities for the engineering, machinery and equipment sector.
Other sources of government projects information or tender opportunities:

If you are a Queensland manufacturer or related service provider looking for major project work make sure you are registered with ICN (QLD) or your existing registration is up to date.
If you are a Queensland small business in the building and construction industry, such as electrician, bricklayer, landscaper or builder, especially in regional Queensland, there is no need to register with ICN (Qld), just keep an eye out for project or opportunity briefings in your region.
If you are a buyer and need further assistance to optimize your project in Queensland make sure you contact ICN (QLD).
